Remember the only person you really truly know that you are going to be in a long term realtionship with is YOU.
So treat yourself well, be your own best friend and remember to focus on filling yourself up before you stretch yourself thin trying to please everyone else around you.

The 5 From Good to Fantastic steps may seem simple – even so simple that it can be hard to believe that it works.
Remember that simple is never the same as easy – simple may become easy with practice, but the first few times are never easy. Just think about a child taking his first step, learning to ride a bike, learning the alphabet and learning to read. It takes persistence and commitment to learn something new and to make a change in your life.

How much time and energy do you expend on grouching as compared to considering what you want in your life or enjoying what you have got? If there is a preponderance of grouching, then there is reason to stop and ask yourself if you want to continue using your energy this way.
Think about your last three phone conversations with friends and family – how much of the conversation was grouching? And was the theme of your grouching the same in all three conversations?
It is our experience that grouching without action is a drain on your energy. It keeps you stuck in medium-contentment and prevents you from achieving your goals.
We are not saying that you should not vent your dissatisfaction. Of course you may – get it out if you need to. But once is sufficient; then let it go. The more you talk about what makes you unhappy without changing the situation, the more you maintain and reinforce what makes you dissatisfied.
Make a decision to change what you are dissatisfied with. Make it a goal. It is an easy shortcut to a greater feeling of contentment.

We recommend taking the time and making the effort to acknowledge your achievements, clap yourself on the shoulder and say “Wow, I did it – I really made it happen”.
Treat yourself to your favorite ice cream or something else you enjoy. Nothing is too small to celebrate.

Everyone needs a tune up sometimes. Time just for you, where the only focus is filling yourself up with energy.
Being a great fan of lists – we have a special list just for this. We call it our Soul Treat List.
The list is individual – so you need to write your own. Keep it in a handy place like on your phone. Include big things, small things, free things, expensive things, activities that take a little time and some that take a lot of time - just make sure all of them fill you up with energy.
Lucy’s list has things like a foot bath, a swim in the sea, reading a book, a day at the spa and phoning her sister on it.
Signe’s list has dancing to music, going for a bike ride, eating dark chocolate and a day at the spa.

Going against the stream and standing out from the crowd can get lonely. What you need is a confidante – someone on the same page as you – who knows what you mean when you say that good isn’t enough. This week we have had a major break through with some technical challenges! After weeks of trying, contact with several support hotlines, frustration – and worst of all absoultely no understanding of why it just wasn’t working – it finally all fell into place and now works!
Phew – deep breaths of relief! Needless to say we are very pleased not have that issue hanging over our heads any more.
