Celebration is a vital ingredient in boosting your life from good to fantastic.

We recommend taking the time and making the effort to acknowledge your achievements, clap yourself on the shoulder and say “Wow, I did it – I really made it happen”.

Treat yourself to your favorite ice cream or something else you enjoy. Nothing is too small to celebrate.

Not only does this mark the fact that you are moving forward and not just standing still – it also helps you to stay excited about your life.

That little difference….

What makes you label some days good and others fantastic?

What makes the difference? Is it how much money you’ve spent or earnt? Whether the sun was shining from a clear blue sky or not? Or if someone said they loved you?

Our bet is that the difference lies in none of the above. Our bet is that the thing that makes all the difference is your attitude. Your attitude is also one of the few things you actually have control over. You cannot control the weather or what other people think and do. You can however decide to think better feeling thoughts and choose a positive attitude.

Think about it – if you wake up and your first thought is “I wish this day was over”, then chances are you won’t have avery good day let alone a fantastic day. Your chances of raising your level of contentment and having more fantastic days rise dramatically, if you train yourself to be excited about the day and look forward to whatever it may bring.

Have you really taken the time to consider what makes your heart sing?

You know – people, situations or things that give you a warm fuzzy feeling inside and a smile on your lips….

Take a moment to make a note of at least 5 things, situations or people that make your heart sing.

Now consider how much time you spend on these things, people and situations. Is it enough? If not, then how can you make more time to let your heart sing?

Letting go of good….

Letting go of good (or worse) can be quite a challenge.

Signe’s full moon ritual might inspire you – it goes like this:

  1. Write a list of things, feelings, realtionships etc. that you do not need or want in your life anymore. Be honest with yourself.
  2. Burn it under the light of the full moon – as a symbolic statement of mentally letting go.
  3. Do not concern yourself with how these changes will take place – let the Universe take over and be open to what comes your way.
  4. Get a good night’s sleep!

This Fall our focus is on career…

How we make a living – what we do to pay our bills is a big part of most of our lives. In fact many of us spend most of our waking hours and a lot of energy on just that – making a living.

We once heard someone say, “Work is work and not fun, that’s why it’s not called play time, free time or anything else. And that’s why you get paid!”

About Autopilots, Medium Contentment and Enthusiasm

Do you recognize the feeling that everyday life just goes by? The days seem similar. Routine has become a necessity in order for you to manage to do everything you have to do and for you to stay afloat. That is what we call driving on autopilot.

To us, driving on autopilot is when you do what you usually do without stopping to reflect and consider your options. Your life goes by day by day without much enthusiasm. Mostly you look forward to weekends and vacations when you are away from the routine of your everyday life.

When we talk of medium contentment we are talking about making compromises and settling for less. Beliefs such as “you can’t have everything” influence your thoughts and your approach to situations. To us, the feeling of medium contentment is an important step on the way. If you feel that you are medium-contented, it means that you are already conscious of the fact that you are not at your highest level of happiness. And it means that you are about ready to change this.

Ask yourself if “good” is good enough for you? Are you satisfied with where you are at? Have your dreams come true? If yes, then perhaps there is not much reason to read on …. Unless you still think there might be something more for you out there, then we reccommend that you read our E-book.

One piece of pie at a time….

One of the reasons that the 5 From Good to Fantastic steps work so well is that your focus is on one thing at a time.

We know that you want everything about your life to be fantastic NOW – but trying to upgrade all areas of your life at once is like eating the whole pie at once… guaranteed to give you a stomach ache at best – at worst you might stretch your pants so much that they split leaving you in an even more unpleasant situation.

The stomach ache can be compared to the pressure of having to focus on more than one thing at a time and having a long to do list.

The split pants can be compared to stretching yourself too thin over too many projects and eventually subcoming to stress, leaving you unable to do anything except pull the covers up over your head and hide.

We want you to succeed and feel energized and motivated to create the change you want.

So pace yourself – one step at a time. Enjoy seeing each small piece of progress and take time to celebrate your effort and commitment to change along the way.

Finding the good in goodbye

Sometimes the only thing standing in your way of creating the fantastic life you want is the good stuff you already have.

Yeah – you heard us. The good stuff!

Here’s what we mean…

When you settle for good and allow yourself to settle into a life of medium contentment, you are actually closing the door on fantastic.

Imagine that your life is a book shelf. There is only a certain amount of space on the shelf. This means that you should choose the books or other items that you want on your shelf with great care. If you have 5 large old hardbacks – then maybe there’s only room for a set of small candle sticks. However, if you said goodbye to 2 of the large hardbacks, then there would room for something new – maybe that new DVD box with your favorite series, the newest paperbacks or a photo of someone you love.

The trick is to only have things on your shelf that you really love and enjoy – even if this means having empty space on your shelf for a while

The challenge is that empty space can be kind of scary. You know what you have, and don’t know what might turn up.

Saying goodbye to something good can be very hard and sometimes even painful. However it is necessary to free up space in your life so that there’s room for fantastic.

That’s what we call finding the good in goodbye.
